New owner Deanna Marie, who is Maria’s niece, is happy to be carrying on the family tradition at Maria’s Italian Deli. Deanna is a former deli clerk and co-owner of a restaurant in New York who knows her way around the food industry.
Deanna is keeping with the tradition of the original menu, so you will still be able to enjoy Maria’s delicious recipes. They will be implementing some changes on the inside as well as planning to open for breakfast and extending the hours also. They are also now offering nine draft beers, as well as, a variety of wines.
“We are a family run business and we are happy to see more families dining in and enjoying our atmosphere, as well as our heroes/submarine sandwiches and family recipes. We’ve had a great response even though I am filling big shoes! Maria still comes in the restaurant, so look for her to say hello. We are excited for the future and some of the changes we plan to make in the next few years,” said Deanna.
