Mark your calendar now for LETMESAIL’s 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Bon Voyage Ball, which will be held once again at the Hyatt Valencia Grand Ball Room. For those of you who attended the inaugural event last year, you will remember that it was “the place to be” to ring in the New Year! This year’s extravaganza promises to be another fabulous party on Wednesday, December 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Don’t start your New Year’s resolution diet early, because the menu will feature scrumptious appetizers, a four-course dinner and a delicious dessert bar. You’ll be able to dance the night away to the tunes of a live band and enjoy complimentary casino ‘cruise cash’ at the many different casino gaming tables, which will include blackjack, roulette, craps, and several types of poker. Free photographs, generously provided by O’Connor Photography, will capture you looking your best in your formal attire. Of course at the stroke of midnight, you’ll enjoy all of festivities of a mid-night countdown, complete with hats, tiaras, noisemakers, a champagne toast and balloon drop.
This annual gala is LETMESAIL’s biggest fundraiser of the year. So, you’ll not only have a great time, but you’ll also be supporting this rapidly growing non-profit organization, which provides social, recreational, and educational opportunities for teenagers and adults with disabilities. Over 200 clients now regularly enjoy programming, which includes parties, dances, a therapeutic art program, music and cultural arts activities, job training, independent living skills instruction, community excursions, day camps during school breaks, a SNAP (Special Needs Athletes and Peers) Flag Football Program, health and wellness programs, a summer camp, and much more!
It’s not too early to begin thinking of your New Year’s Eve plans, as this was a sold-out event last year! Table sponsorships of ten guests range in price from $2,500 to $7,500. The price for a couple is $300 and the individual ticket price is $175. This year, a “Couples party and hotel package” is also available for $450. A limited number of tickets for an “After-Dinner party” Package can be purchased after December 1, upon availability.
