When Egg Plantation opened in the 70s there was one goal – to serve the best tasting, original omelets on the planet. Good news – nothing has changed! The goal is still the same today. Owners Simon and Shannon Mee love the restaurant business. Simon wanted to own his own restaurant from the age of 14 and Egg Plantation fit the bill perfectly.
In addition to specializing in great omelets Egg Plantation also has a full bar which serves the best Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas around. They have been voted best breakfast every year by local press including the Signal’s “Best of” contest for 2008 and have also been featured on the Food Network.
Egg Plantation is one of the few family owned restaurants around with a full breakfast and lunch menu, using over 6,000 extra large farm fresh eggs each week. There are 101 omelets to choose from and something for everyone on the menu. You are also invited to customize your own creation utilizing the knowledge and experience of the great staff that will gladly assist you.
Everything served is made from scratch, with no MSG or Trans Fat to be found anywhere. Tuesdays they offer 25 percent off to seniors and come in on your birthday (with valid ID) for a complimentary breakfast or lunch item. Sundays have Eric Harper on the guitar with some sweet tunes for their patio guests from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
