I decided to dedicate this year’s editorial to my staff. I often have customers question me why our store is so successful? My answer is simple and always the same. I fell our staff is the reason for our success! We have such a group of dedicated and talented individuals. Marian our stamping teacher came with years of experience in the crafting field. Her classes are always full of surprises and she often has sell outs. Her dedication and loyalty has been awesome. When Kathy came to Southern California we were so fortunate she was willing to teach and work and design at the store. Her scrapbook and art skills are unique and never duplicated. She brings a flair of elegance. She also has been a loyal and dedicated team member. Erin is our main full time employee. She has wonderful art skills. She also has a patience level with children and adults when teaching. Erin is unique to us as she scrapbooks and teaches rubber stamping. She knows many of the customers by first name and they love her sweet and gentle way.
Janine is our newest teacher. She teaches rubberstamp classes and has specialized in the “Stampscape” series. Her cards are very unique and her students love to take her classes. Hannah is new with us and we are pleased she has joined our team. Dillon is our youngest helper (and my son) He loves to greet customers and pass out baskets to our customers.
I love to see our customers” our friends” shop and sing to our music which is always playing. We try to have coffee brewing and once in a while even put out some yummy goodies to give you energy while shopping.
The Crafter’s Connection was opened for customers to have fun while doing their craft. Scrap booking is a very personal thing and we love watching people take their most precious pictures of their families and friends and make them come alive with the purchase they find in our store. Why not try to start scrap booking or rubberstamping. Our classes will show you how to start. Thanks to all our loyal customers and friends who have supported our store over the years and make us such a huge success.
Finally I thank all my staff, Marian, Kath, Erin, Hannah and Dill. I love you all and thanks for being part of the team and helping “our” store grow and remain here in Santa Clarita for many years to come!
