Hart High School Summer Show Choir Camp

 Summer Show Choir Camp is a two-week camp for kids who love to sing and dance! This camp is designed to teach, inspire, and most importantly: Have Fun!
During our two weeks at camp, kids are instructed and taught by the award-winning Hart High School Show Choir’s current choreographers and musical directors (as well as alumni). Each day, kids take time to learn new music and choreography to work up to our Final Showcase at the end of camp that shows off all of our hard work. Every camper gets to perform in the final showcase in the all-cast numbers and other numbers dedicated to their age group. The Final Showcase also has room for smaller group numbers that campers can prepare with their friends, and a hip-hop dance ensemble where we get our groove on without singing! Throughout camp, some days have workshops led by previous staff members or guest artists. These workshops can range from vocal lessons to performance classes to even technical dance numbers. However, SSCC definitely isn’t all work – it’s mostly fun! Each day has a different theme where campers and counselors dress up, games are played every day, and we even have a full day dedicated to relay races and scavenger hunts! Teams compete for points and glory while sharing lasting memories with each other. A grand prize awaits the team who gains the most points by the end of the week–and this year, we decided to make the prize extra special for the campers. Although our main focus is on the campers, SSCC has a recycling competition every year where the proceeds go towards a children-supportive, non-profit organization. We do this in the hopes that our main mission doesn’t just stop at SSCC but spreads to other kids around the world.
Summer Show Choir Camp is open to anyone regardless of school registration! The minimum age is any boy or girl entering 5th grade in the fall.
