Who could resist a platter full of mouth watering savory barbecue ribs? Or mountains of fresh greens topped with your favorite barbecued chicken? What about a delectable triple chocolate cake? It’s plain and simple, there’s no shortage of flavor at Rattler’s Bar B Que. Come with an appetite, and you’ll surely be fed.
After 20 years, Rattler’s relocated to a brand new and beautiful location in the Centre Pointe Marketplace in Santa Clarita. It continues to be one of our valley’s most popular restaurants, and there’s no doubt why. Their new full service bar is a delightful addition for some tasty drinks and appetizers. We started off the evening with some tasty drinks per Manager Travis Hastings request —the California Rattlesnake, a blend of Malibu Rum, Southern Comfort, Amaretto and a mix of fruit juices, was something every customer should try. It had the tasty sweetness of fruit flavors combined with the warmth of Southern Comfort.
Complimentary warm garlic rolls were served with our drinks and a platter of appetizing Shredded Onions, thinly sliced with a perfect seasoning, were next to taste. Drizzle a little bit of their famous barbecue sauce on the onions, and you’ve got the perfect appetizer! If you want a heartier pre-dinner bite, be sure and try the Three Bean Beef Chili Nachos. The platter is large enough to share with your family! “Our food is all fresh and all homemade!” stated Javier.
A BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad was next on the menu for my guest and I to try. “It’s the most popular dish” stated Travis. The salad, which comes with a choice of chicken breast or tri tip, is mixed with greens, roasted corn, black beans, shredded carrots, red cabbage, jack cheese and tortilla strips. All this was tossed with Ranch dressing, topped with chopped tomato, cilantro and green onion.
And for the main course, we enjoyed three dishes. A tender, flavorful tri tip, with a side of grilled and seasoned vegetables and hearty baked beans had just the right seasoning and just the perfect taste. We also enjoyed a full slab of baby back ribs with a corn on the cob, grilled and lathered with butter to bring out all the flavors. The ribs were tender and mouth watering. We also enjoyed one of Rattler’s popular burgers—The Cowboy! This juicy burger is basted with BBQ sauce and topped with bacon, melted cheddar and their famous shredded onions! Spice up your life with some Rattler’s Fire Fries, hot fresh and spicy with a cool side of ranch. Be sure and wear your snake boots, cause’ this one has some bite!
To finish off the perfect meal, make sure and try Rattler’s freshly baked Triple Chocolate Blackout Cake. It’s every chocolate lover’s heaven! Stop by and taste for yourself!
