I remember when I was a kid visiting my grandfather was one of my favorite times. My grandfather had a salt water tank full of wonderful little creatures. Every evening on weekends, he would sit down in front of his tank with a glass of wine and just stare at it.

At first I would get in trouble because I would always tap on the glass scaring the living out of every fish in it.  My grandfather made a proposition to me and asked, “Would you like to feed them?” I immediately said, “Yes!”  He allowed me to do that, after he went through all the rules I needed to follow.  As a kid, I did not like to hear it, but being able to feed the fish was something very interesting.  Learning how these little fish become your friends after they get to know you, the feeling was very pleasant. Being able to feed them right out of your hands was an incredible experience.  From seeing the live rock with vivid red color, the corals moving slowly side to side opening up and extending their long tentacles eating plankton, to the hermit crabs, cleaner and bandid shrimps all living together in a small, but beautiful tank with blue lights.  As a kid I was just astonished!

Now when I come home and see my beautiful 300-gallon tank.  I think of my wonderful grandparents who are now gone and I understand why they would love to sit next to theirs; I also learned that they had the tank to keep me happy.  The relaxation you get watching the beauty of nature in your own home is something hard to get anywhere else, not to mention the compliments you get from your friends and family.  Come to Natural Wonders Fish where you will find affordable saltwater tanks sales and service.  Oh and please, go easy on your kids!  They just love to watch the fish as I did!  God Bless.
