Hello comedy friends. Just a reminder that we here at J.R.’s Comedy Club try to give back whenever we can. We are open to having Sunday fundraisers for your charity or your group. We have done them for many organizations over the years.
Here is how they work. You sell up to 95 tickets for dinner and the show, and you keep $10 from every ticket. Most groups then have raffles and some have auctions to raise additional revenue.
The shows are at 7 p.m. with 5:30 p.m. seating for dinner. You must guarantee 60 tickets sold. It always turns out to be a wonderful night for people to get together and unwind. People always leave with a smile. Please contact us if you are interested.
Coming on October 12, 2009, we will be partnering with the good folks who provide shelter for the homeless in both Santa Clarita and in Sylmar. We will have a Comedy Celebrity Golf tournament at Robinson Ranch. Each foursome will play with a professional nationally headlining comedian. At the end of the tournament there will be a dinner and a comedy show where most of the comics will perform for five minutes each.
