Porter Valley Country Club is the leading family-friendly private country club in the San Fernando Valley. At Porter Valley, there is something for everyone all year long. The Club hosts events, ranging from our ever-popular Valentine’s Dinner Dance to a Mardi Gras Cooking Class to an impressive New Year’s Eve Gala. Club members enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres nights, cigar and poker tournaments, spring tea and fashion show, summer barbeques and twilight tournaments, as well as a wide variety of social events. The popular kids nights are themed and hosted monthly, and in the past have featured a Star Wars treasure hunt with a live lightsaber show, fire and police night with fire trucks and police cars, Halloween haunt parties, breakfast with Santa and a live marionette show, and a cooking academy with our executive chef.
For golf and tennis enthusiasts, our golf and tennis pros organize leagues, clinics and junior programs throughout the year. The Club also has golf tournaments, luncheons and inter-club team play through our men’s golf club, nine tees for beginning lady golfers, and ladies auxiliary for more advanced play. Porter Valley features complimentary golf and tennis clinics every weekend for adults and children, of all membership categories.
Members come first at Porter Valley, so we recently introduced extra “Member Appreciation Days,” which include $50 dining gift certificates for every family, complimentary guest passes for our golfers, reduced guest green fees on weekdays, complimentary kids meals everyday, $1 Friday food and drink specials, and more extras throughout the seasons. We host a complimentary wine and live hors d’oeuvres station, which has become a fun Member Mixer every month.
