While many dental high-tech tools look and sound amazing, when you get right down to it, they don’t have much to offer when it comes to helping the patient.
We’ve added CEREC technology for restorations to meet our requirement of substantial benefits for our guests. CEREC restorations are extremely precise, very durable and look just like natural teeth. The best feature is that restorations can be fabricated in one visit, eliminating the need for impressions, return visits and temporary crowns.
First the tooth is prepared by removing the decayed or damaged areas. The tooth is sprayed with a thin layer of reflective powder and a very precise digital image is captured with a special camera. This image is actually more accurate than the traditional impression, which can distort. The image is captured on a computer and then your restoration is custom designed by Dr. Miller using CAD/CAM technology. During this stage, Dr. Miller is able to manipulate and verify all aspects of the restoration design for accuracy and assurance of an ideal fit. The final design is then wirelessly sent to our on-site milling unit. A ceramic block is placed in the milling machine and minutes later, the finished veneer or crown is ready to be bonded to your tooth using techniques that reduce or eliminate sensitivity.
You can see how the procedures are performed by visiting our website at www.valenciasmiles.com and clicking on Dental Procedure Videos. CEREC restorations are natural looking, metal-free, anti-abrasive and plaque resistant. Dr. Miller is able to be more conservative in his treatment, helping to save healthy teeth and the extremely precise process ensures ideal fit of restorations. We’re able to offer the many advantages of CEREC at the same price level as other indirect restorations, such as crowns, onlays and veneers. There are no hidden fees or inflated prices because of the technology.
CEREC may be right for you if:
You want a long lasting restoration.
You want to keep as much of your natural tooth as possible.
You want to minimize the number of trips to the dental office.
You want your teeth to look as natural as possible.
