The words are Colon Hydrotherapy.  The first thing that comes to people’s minds when they hear those two words is a Colonoscopy, which involves a small scope entering the rectum and taking pictures of the inside of the colon, a procedure commonly used in detecting colon cancer.

Many people have also grown weary of the unpopular preparation process associated with a Colonoscopy.  Colon Hydrotherapy is completely different.  In fact, Colon Hydrotherapy is a safe, effective method of removing waste from the large intestine, without the use of drugs.  By introducing pure, filtered and temperature-regulated water into the colon, waste is softened and loosened, resulting in elimination, through natural muscle contractions.

Many people do not have an understanding of what Colon Hydrotherapy is and in certain instances have never even heard of it.  It is a phrase that people tend to avoid talking about because it deals with fecal material, the rectum, bowel movements, stool and the colon itself.  Have I lost you yet?

The fact is Colon Hydrotherapy dates back to ancient times where enemas were recorded as early as 1500 B.C. in Egyptian medical documents called the Ebers Papyrus.  In early times people implemented treatments in a river by using a hallow reed to induce water to flow to the rectum.  Even in our culture, enemas are commonly used to help maintain health and avoid disease.  In the early 20s, 30s and 40s, colon irrigation machines were commonly seen and regularly used as a standard practice in hospitals and doctors’ offices.  It worked perfectly.  What changed?  Written prescriptions.  Within the past decade, there has been more interest in complementary medicine and personal healthcare along with evidence that a healthy colon can increase the chances of a healthy lifestyle.

It’s amazing that even back in early times people had knowledge that colon irrigation was essential to maintaining good health.

The process is as natural as it was centuries ago and continues to provide healthy results.  Maybe our early society is trying to tell us something?  So, are you ready to improve your health and find out what Colon Hydrotherapy is really all about?
