Have you ever found yourself suspended in the middle of what appeared to be a hopeless situation? I’m talking about a situation so seemingly hopeless that you found yourself wondering how you even got there, not to mention how you’re going to get out. One of the most disappointing things in life is to be faced with a situation that appears to have no hope. There’s nothing more discouraging than to be faced with a major problem without any solution – questions without any answers. Have you ever been there?
Listen, I don’t care how bad your situation seems, there is always hope. There is always a way of escape. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. There is always an alternative. You may say, “Well that sounds really good and I appreciate your positive attitude and the attempt to keep me encouraged, but you just don’t know my situation.” Just as sure as I know my name, I know that regardless of what you are facing, there is hope. There is always a way out. The question now becomes, “well, how can you be so certain?” The answer is simple. I can be so certain because God raised Jesus from the dead. And if God can raise Jesus from the dead then He can raise you out of whatever situation you may find yourself in. I don’t care how dead your situation may be, God raised Jesus from the dead. I don’t care how hopeless your circumstance may have become, God raised Jesus from the dead. I don’t care how helpless, hopeless, disheartening, discouraging, irredeemable, irreversible, irrevocable, or depressing your situation has become, the fact still remains that God raised Jesus from the dead. And if God can raise Jesus from the dead, then surely he can do whatever you need him to do. Surely he can bring you out of your situation. Surely, he can correct whatever may be wrong in your life. Surely, he can resurrect joy in your life. Surely, he can resurrect peace in your life. Surely, he can resurrect confidence in your life. Surely he can resurrect hope in your life. He can even put life back into your life. He can restore life to your marriage. He can restore life to your family. He can restore life to your job. He can restore life to your dreams. He can restore life to your goals. God can put life back into whatever situation needs restoring. Why? Because God raised Jesus from the dead!
