On Saturday, March 21, the SCV branch of American Association of University Women hosted their 10th annual Math/Science Conference at Golden Valley High School. Over 160 Santa Clarita Valley 7th and 8th grade girls explored their areas of interest in three morning sessions. Thirty-eight professional women conducted career workshops in math, science, engineering and medicine. Parents and interested adults participated in a separate session to explore high school course planning, college entrance requirements and financial aid programs.
