In times of stress, feeling we need help but having no one to turn to, we often turn to a higher power. We all do this in different ways. For some, it may be going to church, getting out in nature, turning within, or meditating.
With the uncertainty of our economy, it has many a little unsettled and looking for spiritual help. Just as in any of the recovery programs, AA, CA, NA, OA, all promote turning to a higher power and learning to trust that we are being guided for our greatest and highest good, no matter what the appearances.
This is also what John Randolph Price suggests in his book, The Abundance Book. This little pocket-sized book of 83 pages is a wonderful reminder that “Since the beginning of the civilized world, enlightened ones have taught that prosperity is a part of the natural process of life – that lavish abundance is the unquestionable nature of each individual.” It is important to learn the principle that lack is the out-picturing of false beliefs. An example of false belief is to hold the fear, of what might happen to our family, as a result of the appearance of a failing world economy. By holding this fear we are attracting what we fear. Just as it was written in the Bible, “Fear is your own worst enemy.”
We need to work on ourselves and our thinking. You might think, “Okay, I’ll just run around in denial,” however, that is only pushing the fear into the background, into the unconscious. Not a good thing to do. The unconscious is very powerful and will continue to hold the fear for you. We need to face our fears and turn them over to our source. Practicing daily meditations and writing daily lists of gratitude are wonderful ways to help us keep our thinking along a more positive theme. In The Abundance Book you will also find a “40-Day Prosperity Plan.” This is a wonderful way to help us turn to our source, higher power, and help us get in touch with our creativity and open up to the good that is divinely our right.
This month I am starting a Prosperity Support Group based on The Abundance Book by John Randolph Price. For more information, please call me at 661-252-7026 or visit my website at www.wishhealth4you.com .
