On Thursday, May 28, over 200 community volunteers were honored at the Volunteer Recognition Luau at the City Aquatic Center in Santa Clarita. The event was held to recognize community members who volunteered their time and efforts to help making the City’s events a success. Mayor Pro Tem Laurene Weste, Parks and Recreation Commissioners, City staff and volunteers enjoyed a fun night with great food, Hawaiian dancing and entertainment.
