Just recently, Stork Vision was invited to be a guest on a KHTS’s radio special “Having Your Baby,” hosted by KHTS owner Carl Goldman. What an amazing experience. As a guest along with Dr. Roscoe Marter, an obstetrician with Facey Medical Group, and Laura Gracia, a certified doula and parent educator, we discussed many of today’s pregnancy hot topics.
Dr. Marter educated us all on subjects such as the advancement of technology and genetic research, C-section deliveries and health and nutrition during pregnancy. Doula Laura Gracia, spoke about her role as a birth coach — from providing birthing education to emotional support for expectant parents. They were so informative.
One of the questions directed to Stork Vision was, “ How has ultrasound changed in the past 10 years?” For one thing, the image quality is always improving. It is also now common for parents to request an elective 3D/4D ultrasound. Stork Vision provides ultrasound services in a comfortable inviting setting, by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer under the supervision of physician medical director.
