Have you thought about what you will be doing with your family to celebrate the Fall season? Have you thought about doing something a little different for Halloween with your family this year? Well, at First Presbyterian Church of Newhall we understand the importance of spending time with your family, as well as understand how hard it is do something safe and fun for Halloween. This is why every year we host the “Fall Festival.” Every year we have a blast with our families at the church as well as our neighboring community families at the festival. There are a ton of different activities for each child of your family to enjoy. From small to tall, kids love coming and enjoying a safe Halloween alternative at the church.
Some of our fun-filled activities include pumpkin painting, face painting, balloon animals, accuracy games for prizes, and a chance to dunk our pastor in the dunk tank (And he loves being dunked). Not to mention, we have added a “jail” for kids to throw in their siblings, parent’s friends and teachers or whoever for a small ticket cost, which is always a fun thing to witness. Our games are age appropriate for through sixth-graders. Not only are all the games a total blast to play, all of the kids will receive a prize at every game no matter what the outcome. With odds like that, you got to come check it out.
Admission is free and tickets are five for a $1 and most games require only one ticket! This event is a great way to spend the afternoon with your family. It is safe, cost effective, and, most of all, fun. If you would like to join us and the other ton of kids that will be there, then please come by First Presbyterian Church of Newhall on Sunday, October 25 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. You won’t be disappointed. If you have any further questions about any of our other children’s programs or Sunday services, please don’t hesitate to email or call the church. We hope to see you all there!
