The Titleist Performance Institute was created to provide players with the ultimate golf learning experience by the leaders in elite player development. They have combined industry leading experts, state-of-the-art technology, and world-class facilities to enhance your performance. They have developed a program to help coordinate the medical and fitness community with your existing golf professional. Their website is MyTPI.com.
What is MyTPI.com? MyTPI.com is the largest collection of golf-specific fitness, golf health, and golf swing biomechanics from the world’s leading experts in the game.
The TPI model starts by putting players through a complete array of tests usually reserved for the best golfers in the world. By assessing a “total picture” of your body, swing, and equipment, we will recommend a program that will seamlessly integrate into your existing PGA or LPGA professional’s instruction to help you optimize your performance.
Factors like strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, nutrition, stability, power, vision and posture all influence the body’s mechanics. Utilizing our physical screening process, we will measure your ability to generate and transfer speed to determine the most efficient energy transfer throughout your body. This will allow you to learn to train like a tour pro and maximize your performance through fitness.
What is the TPI training for the doctor? This is a three level education course designed to teach the doctor how to identify and correct any physical restrictions that are limiting the patient’s potential. Each workshop features the latest in golf-specific health and fitness. This ranges from golf swing biomechanics, to physical screening techniques, to exercise prescriptions, to the most recent research and development in the field of golf swing analysis. Classes are taught by the experts from the Titleist Performance Institute’s Health and Fitness Advisory Board.
Dr. Joshua Mitchell is now offering the TPI golf health and fitness physical screening process in his office.
