On Saturday, September 19, the Betty Ferguson Foundation hosted their Woman of Honor Dinner at the beautiful Tournament Players Club in Valencia.  The committee honored Chancellor of the College of the Canyons, Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook, for her contributions to the community. This year was the first time the Betty Ferguson Foundation honored someone from the field of education.   Community leaders, friends and family attended the event and many guests enjoyed the evening with delicious dinner, dancing and live entertainment by the local Journey Tribute Band: Don’t Stop Believin’. The Woman of Honor exemplifies a woman who has a history of philanthropy and service to the community.  This award is given to a woman who sincerely desires to help others reach their highest potential.  Thank you, Dr. Van Hook, for your commitment to our community!
