She played the eldest Von Trapp daughter in the adored film, Sound of Music. Actress and singer Charmian Carr was seen at an event in Hollywood. She is best known for her role as Liesl Von Trapp, and has also co-authored a book, Forever Liesl, chronicling her experiences as Liesl in the Sound of Music, and released her second book in 2001 titled Letters to Liesl.
Actress, singer and model Brenda Song was seen at California Pizza Kitchen in Valencia last month. Valencia resident, Hart Cosenza spotted the teen celebrity. “My mom didn’t think it was her, but I knew it,” states Hart, “She was so nice, too!” Brenda plays the spoiled heiress at the London Tipton on Disney’s popular televisions series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. She also had a starring role in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior.
Santa Clarita resident Evelyn Glasgow spotted actress Lindsey Shaw from ABC Family’s 10 Things I Hate About You at Bed Bath & Beyond store in Golden Valley. “She was getting ready to decorate her new place in Burbank,” states Evelyn. Lindsey stars as Kat Stratford in the ABC sitcom and also starred on Nickelodeon’s sitcom, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide as Jennifer Mosely.
Anchor Sandra Mitchell was seen at this year’s Rubber Ducky Regatta held at Castaic Lake. Sandra is an award-winning journalist and currently anchors KCAL 9 News. She has been reporting in Los Angeles for over a decade. Sandra was the celebrity guest at the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center’s Rubber Ducky Regatta last month.
