You may recognize him as the nerdy “Arvid” from ABC’s Head of the Class, or from Nickelodeon’s Kenan & Kel show. I spotted actor Dan Frischman at Barnes N Nobles signing his newly published book, Jackson & Jenks, Master Magicians. He also performed a magic show for the young audience. Along with acting and writing, Dan has spent the last twenty plus years as a professional magician. He’s known as “The Great Houdanny!”
NFL Hall of Famer and Heisman winner, Marcus Allen along with NBA Hall of Famer and Champion Clyde “The Glide” Drexler were seen with their friends David Katz and Ben Fox at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia. “Marcus and Clyde game out as guests. They are both great guys and were very good golfers as well,” states Anthony Falasca, Director of Sales and Marketing at TPC Valencia. Running Back, Marcus Allen, played for the Los Angeles Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs and was elected to six Pro Bowls before he retired. He was inducted in to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000 and the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 2003. Former NBA shooting guard, Clyde Drexler is a ten-time All-Star and member of the Basketball Hall of Fame. He won an Olympic gold medal in 1992 and an NBA championship in 1995, playing for the Houston Rockets.
Actor David Caruso was seen at Lombardi Ranch a few months back. David is a television and film actor and producer and his best known for his role as Horatio Caine on the television series, CSI: Miami. David appeared in movies such as First Blood, An Officer and a Gentleman and China Girl, to name a few. He’s also played gang leader Tommy Mann on Hill Street Blues. David was kind enough to take a photo with Saugus residents Jessyca Jirkovsky and Kayla Nathanson.
Canyon Country residents Kalia and Keeli Javan are seen snapping a photo with actor Gattlin Griffith. You may recognize Gattlin from the movie Changeling with Angelina Jolie. Gattlin played Walter Collins. The young actor was also featured in the movie Couple’s Retreat alongside Vince Vaughn and Kristen Bell. Gattlin has also made appearances on television shows such as Cold Case, How I Met Your Mother and Monk, to name a few.
