“The City’s Residential and Property Rehabilitation Grant Program is available for single family homes, mobile homes and condos inside City limits,” said Mayor Frank Ferry.  “Because the grant application process requires household size and income documentation information, which can be time consuming to gather, the City created a five-question precursory ‘Are You Eligible’ survey to help residents determine their eligibility before starting the formal application process.”
The City’s Residential and Property Rehabilitation Grant Program can provide up to $5,000 in needed home repairs and up to $1,000 in repairs to areas outside the home, like walls, gates, and detached garage.
Applicants must own the home for which they are requesting grant funding and earn an annual household income at or below 80 percent of the median household income for Los Angeles County.
