Valencia resident Patricia McMillian has been named Wells Fargo community banking store manager for the newly built Newhall Plaza Wells Fargo banking branch.
“Pat brings outstanding financial management and leadership skills to deliver exceptional service to our customers,” said Kevin Dunbar, Wells Fargo community bank president for the Santa Clarita Valley region, “Her knowledge and understanding of the banking business is an asset for Wells Fargo customers and team members,”.
A 20-year veteran of the banking industry, McMillian started her banking career as a marketing director for Dart National Bank in Mason, Michigan. She held various banking positions at National City Bank, Bank One and Great Western Bank before joining Wells Fargo in 2000. Most recently McMillian was a store manager for the Westridge Plaza banking branch and served as a store manager for the Wells Fargo Stevenson Ranch, Fallbrook/Victory and Granada Hills banking stores. She is active in community organizations, including the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce and the Santa Clarita PTA Partners.
“I am excited to be named the first Wells Fargo store manager to serve the city of Newhall,” said McMillian, “I have lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 11 years, so I am very familiar with the needs of our customers. The Newhall Plaza store is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The store is located near convenient shopping and restaurants at the corner of Lyons and Wiley Canyon, 24018 Lyons Avenue, Newhall. It is the first Wells Fargo banking store in Newhall and the tenth location in the Santa Clarita Valley.
