Not all animals have a warm bed to sleep in or a good piece of lawn to run on.  Check out these great animals and see if one of them might be a good fit in your home.
My name is Cracker.  I am a 10 months old long-haired white cat with one blue eye and one green eye.  I live indoors and since I am white, I need to be indoor only.  I like kids and other cats.  I am fluffy and playful and have all my current shots.
Kat just showed up awhile back and her rescuer is gone alot and can’t keep her.  She is a grey tuxedo tabby about three years-old.  She has beautiful green eyes and such a pretty face.  Kat is gentle, affectionate and obedient.  She is a talker and really enjoys people companionship.
Mittens and his brother Nikolas are in need of a loving home where they can be kept together as they have never been separated and are very attached to one another.  Both cats are about three and half years-old, neutered and their shots are all current.  Both have always been inside cats and must remain so.  Mittens has white feet that look like mittens and is very friendly.  He will crawl up into anyone’s lap and purr very loudly.  He loves to sunbathe in the window and look out at the world. Nikolas loves to sunbathe in the window and look out at the birds in the yard.  He is a little shy around people he doesn’t know but does love to be petted and is usually the first to arrive at the dinner bowl.  He also is very vocal and lets you know everything that is going on in his world.
My name is Sprite and I have lived indoors only.  I am a 10-month-old main coon with black and grey and a very fluffy coat.  I like to play and I am very social with adults, kids and other cats. I am current with my shots.
Blackie and his sister Panda were rescued from under a house after animal control took the mother and couldn’t reach the puppies so they were left behind. They are probably six to eight weeks old the male is very friendly, the female is still a little shy.  They will be at least medium size.  They will be spayed/neutered.
Fawn is a three to four year old loving, sweet, chihuahua that was a rescue from the local shelter.  She would be a good companion dog for an adult or a family with older children.  She gets along well with the dogs in her foster home.  She seems to be housetrained.
Bruno is an 11-month old neutered male pit bull terrier mix.  He is very friendly and social.
Boesman is a 7-year old male black lab and I’m named after a South African bush tribe.  My previous owner was a tough rugby player who loved me very much but he has a neck injury that needs surgery so he won’t be able to play with me for a long time.  I’m now at a foster home with my Aussie sister and I’m very confused about what is going on.  I’m a mellow older gentleman and I like other dogs, kids and people.  I am neutered and have all of my shots, even a special rattlesnake vaccine.  I’d be happy being a porch dog but I’d also like to ride around in the car.  At my new foster home I get to sleep inside which is cool, but I was an outside dog.  I learned the doggie door and am housebroken.  I would like a new forever home and will be a loyal pet for a long time yet.  I am that picture perfect sit at my owner’s feet dog.
My name is Cassiopeia after the star constellation (Cassie for short).  I’m obviously a German Short-haired Pointer with some hound thrown in and my tail is already docked.  I was found as a stray because I’m a hound and once my nose is engaged, there I go.  I can jump short fences, but I don’t dig out.  I like my foster home because I get to sleep inside and be with other dogs and I get lots of exercise.  I’m learning how to play also.  I weigh about 50 pounds, have a wonderfully velvet brown short-haired coat (that’s the pointer in me) but I have definite hound ears.  I will soon be spayed.  I don’t bark, but I’m very alert and I’d be fine with cats or kids.
My name is Misty and I am a young female white shepherd mix.  I was found living under a trailer full of trash and I’m very happy at my foster home with lots of other dogs.  I am very playful, like other dogs, kids and all humans in general.  I especially like living where there is food and water all of the time.   I listen very well, know how to use a dog door and I’m housebroken too.  I’m a really sweet girl who had a rough start in life but I plan to be happy in a new forever home.  I also talk to you and absolutely love getting attention.
