Gateway Village has sold to Grosvenor International, and CB Richard Ellis has been awarded the Property Management contract.  Ms. Pam Craig has been brought on board to manage Gateway Village, a 153,000 square foot shopping center.  Ms. Craig is a local resident, but no stranger to CB Richard Ellis, as she has held various positions with the firm for twenty years.
Gateway Village has already seen a facelift with landscaping enhancement and has hired on site security services.   Representing owners’ interest, Ms. Craig said “Normally neighborhood centers such as Gateway Village rely on drive through security services, but since Gateway has so much activity at all times of the day, the new owners felt it would be in the best interest for everyone, including customers and employees, to have security actually walking the property and keeping a watchful eye open.”

A new monument identity sign is in final approval stages and will be installed shortly.  Ms. Craig said, “most people in the immediate area know how to enter the property, and we especially see that in the morning hours as cars line up for their morning drive-through cup of Coffee Bean coffee, but since the property is somewhat below street level, the identity sign will be a huge help in directing new customers to the property.”

Gateway Village was of high interest to the new owners because they see tremendous growth in the area and are excited with the current retail and restaurant mix already at the neighborhood center, along with LA Fitness.  They believe the growth of the market will further dictate need for what Gateway has to offer and it will be another great asset to them.

Ms. Craig has already begun a marketing campaign to get the word out the Gateway Village is the neighborhood destination shop for food, fitness and FUNdamentals.  Ms. Craig said, Gateway Village is not a full service shopping center but it is just what the busy lifestyle of today demands, a convenient shopping center where wants and needs can be met quickly, or within close proximity to this part of the valley.
