Have you ever wondered who that woman was that you saw in the market or picking her child up from school? You know her face, but you can’t quite place her. Chances are fairly good, that she is a Betty Ferguson Foundation Volunteer. These women are the valuable workers seen at many of the fundraising events around town.
Betty Ferguson Foundation (BFF) is proud of its volunteers. There are over 40 women who not only volunteer to help raise money for BFF, but for many nonprofit organizations in town. Some organizations served by BFF Volunteers are: COC Youth Orchestra, Circle of Hope, Inc., Carousel Ranch, Child and Family Center, Soroptimist of SCV, Special Olympics, Make A Difference Day, Chamber of Commerce, Hunger Defense Fund, Mac’s Project and Relay for Life.
BFF Volunteers have been requested to help at over18 nonprofit events this year and have currently logged over 1300 hours serving our community.
The Monetary Value to Santa Clarita Valley is Significant.
