Look at situations that are happening in the economy, the market, the work force, with employees and other components. What are the consequences that could possibly happen in relation to these situations and what is the direct impact on you and your business? Develop plans to deal with these situations. What will these situations require you to do to utilize the best alternatives in addressing a situation for the best results?
You need to be looking forward and become aware of situations that could possibly impact your business or situation and the needs that you would have to meet, for the best results. Waiting for something to happen and just being reactive, may not be the best way to obtain results that are meaningful.
Our world business environment is changing, and we need to constantly be looking forward, to be aware of potential situations. If you do not have the ability within yourself, then work toward identifying people who do and building a team around you that is able to do this.
Being aware of a potential situation and planning for learning and growing to deal with it effectively and then proceeding with these things in a result-producing manner when necessary, brings you to a point of situational effectiveness.
The aspect of looking forward and proceeding from situational awareness to a point of situational effectiveness and meeting the demands and requirements of a changing world is essential.
You need to constantly be tinkering, tweaking and improving your business. Bringing your business from a point of situational awareness to a point of situational effectiveness, can keep your business moving forward.
