With over 50 premium rolls reasonably priced at just $7.95 and the more basic rolls ranging from $2.95 to $3.50, Forever Geisha is the new place to eat in Santa Clarita.  Forever Geisha is offering a special Valentine Menu for the month of February as well as offers half price sushi seven days a week, but don’t let the price fool you, the quality is impeccable!  Not only do they feature flavorful and innovative creations, they allow their customers to enjoy a very social or extremely private dining experience.  The restaurant not only has an open bar and dining area, but they offer private booths to accommodate a more intimate dining experience.  I learned that day all the wood used for the booths in the restaurant was hand crafted and the beautiful murals on the walls surrounding us were hand-painted; just another lovely addition to the overall dining experience!  Forever Geisha has their fish delivered fresh daily and how can you pass up the free dessert on your birthday.  It is the perfect place to celebrate your special day.

Lunch began with the traditional serving of Miso Soup and hot tea — a welcomed warm treat on a brisk day.  Our first delicious bite came from a Forever Geisha specialty, the Geisha Roll ($7.95) featuring baked baby lobster wrapped in soy paper bubbling over with baby lobster, house sauce and a little crunch on top.  Truly the OMG roll because oh-my-gosh it is amazing!  The flavors fuse in your mouth to create a delectable rush over your entire body and immediate happiness comes to mind.  This instantly became a new comfort food for me.  Absolutely fabulous!  So how do you follow up such a perfect bite?  With yet another perfect one!  The Rainbow Roll ($7.95) came to the table looking so fresh and colorful — it is one of my favorites because you receive so many different kinds of fish.  Each bite highlighted the fish perfectly and with just a bit of wasabi soy sauce it was truly a fresh favorite of mine.  Next in our dining experience came the Gobe Roll ($7.95).  Shrimp tempura, avocado with snow crab and seared scallop finished off with a special sauce melted in my mouth and I could not stop eating it.  I had to apologize to the office staff, which looked forward to trying a little bit of everything I enjoyed, because I didn’t share that roll — It was all mine.

Just as I thought I could not eat another bite, they brought the Heart Attack Roll ($7.95) to the table.  Wow, with the first bite I felt a hot rush fill my mouth.  Just as I thought I might not be able to take it, my mouth cooled from the cream cheese infused in this lovely treat.  The Heart Attack Roll is deep fried spicy tuna, cream cheese and jalapeño with a special sauce on top.

Beautifully presented, this item is one on the menu that borders on artwork and was hard to eat because I didn’t want to ruin the decorative design in the middle.  We finished our meal with Miso Marinated Black Cod ($16.95,) and it was the perfect closing.  My first bite of the Cod exploded with flavor in my mouth as I added a bite of the grilled sweet corn and asparagus.  The flavors married perfectly in my mouth and this was yet another dish from Forever Geisha that I just couldn’t share.  I devoured every last bite on the plate.

Another spectacular feature of Forever Geisha is the extensive Sake menu.  Featuring more than 15 types of imported Sake, they all have a unique flavors leaving your palette refreshed and clean   All priced accordingly, you can enjoy Sake beginning at $4 a bottle and going all the way to $90 for a premium bottle.  My suggestion: begin with the Sake Sampler ($13.95), which features three types of Sake — Junmai, Ginjo and Dai Ginjo.  Once you have figured out your taste, you can choose from the menu and order accordingly.
