As the world market changes this can cause a change in how business, both national and local, perform their responsibilities.  This can also cause a change in how individuals perform their responsibilities.
You need to become good at knowing what to change and at what point in time to do this.
In order to capitalize on situations and stop doing some things, you need to have a level of understanding of people, as well as situations in the market you serve and the global economy.  You need to have a clear understanding of what is relevant.

You also need to understand what you need to do, to place yourself in the right place in a business, to be able to contribute in the most relevant manner.

An individual or a business needs to understand their strengths.  There are many ways to determine strengths.  The feedback analysis is one of those.  Whenever you take an action or make a decision, record in a journal what your expectations are for the outcome.  Then after a period of time, possibly 12 months and sometimes a shorter period, you measure the results in relation to expectations.

You may come up with some interesting revelations.  Look for three things in the process:
1. Where are your strengths?

2. It can reveal to you where you are competent and where you are weaker.

3. This can reveal where you obviously have no strength.

The important thing is to focus on the things where your strengths can be a part of the performance necessary for results.  Of high importance is to be on a pathway of improving your strengths.

This process can show where your knowledge and your skills may not be adequate anymore.  One of the things that may come out of this is that you may not know enough anymore in some areas to be as effective as you need to be.

In all of this, you are looking for where you are most effective and can bring the best results.
