Getting clear skin is not as easy as one would like. We buy products, we do all the right things, yet those pesky breakouts still come… it’s just not fair! Well there are some really cool methods that can assist in getting clearer skin. It seems that this has been my path. From my own frustration with my skin, to helping others for the past 14 years, I have learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t.
It’s funny, so many of my clients end up coming to me after they have tried countless medications, countless trips to the dermatologist, and many dollars later of buying all kinds of products that promise the world. What makes a difference is really dedicating yourself to a simple course. Killing the bacteria is what is key, and the only way to tackle that is first getting the infection out, and then killing that bacteria that is present. The most effective tool for me is an acne treatment that I developed and is based on extractions, and a certain percent of salicylic acid based ingredients that actually do the job. Monthly Reminder: Each day I start my day with quieting my thoughts and anchoring myself in what I believe. Sometimes I use the Lord’s prayer, sometimes I use a Psalm, and sometimes I repeat the words to my favorite song over and over, until I feel a shift in my energy, and I feel calm and aligned. The key is learning how to discipline the mind. Day after day I hear the people around me sharing how they can’t seem to quiet their mind. This is what I know…practice…practice…practice! It will come together at some point for you. It will become automatic after the practice. I am amazed at how still I can get and how deep I sleep at night because I have practiced becoming quiet. I am also amazed at how creative my mind is becoming, and I believe it is through this quiet time that other things are being developed inside me, because I am not spending time fretting over things I have no control over. Take the time to create that stillness and see what your mind will unleash in you. Try it, you might like it!
