If you have ever loved and lost a pet, you know how strong the emotional bond is that you create with your furry family member. In fact there are many people who spend much more on grooming and pampering for their pets than they do themselves!
If you are a friend of Edna’s Salon and Spa, you may have already heard of the passing of Mathew, the beloved Maltese mascot known to many of you. Mathew was always visiting with people, always had a prance in his step, and always had perfect hair days of course! We all know he was spoiled and he lived the best life a pup could ever ask for.
September is National Pet Memorial Day… In Mathew’s honor, Edna and Michael will be hosting a Black & White Ball on Friday, September 26 from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The evening will include ballroom dancing, food and fun for everyone. Come dance with professionals, like Artemi Okunev, from Australian television shows Strictly Dancing, So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing with the Stars, while helping raise funds and awareness for companion animals. Proceeds from this event will benefit Shelter Hope Pet Shop, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing companion pets.
Complimentary beverages and Hors D’oeuvres will be served, and there is a complimentary dance lesson at 8 p.m., if you want to brush up on a few steps before the big Ball starts at 8:30 p.m.!
