There comes a time when all your hard work pays off. Whether it’s discipline with your diet and exercise, saving money, studying hard for your degree, etc. Of course sometimes we are not aware of the changes and the growth taking place inside us, but it happens. The diligence, the dedication, the commitment does indeed pay off. There is that magic moment, when we get into those skinny jeans, or get an A on that paper, or have enough money to put that down payment down. It is a moment to see where we have been and where we are going.
I believe it is important to navigate my mind to take those moments to see, to practice that level of awareness. Lately I noticed so many changes in my life. From day to day I see the changes in me, and my outer world. As I reflected to see what exactly is happening, I realized that my inner communication with myself, the thoughts I have within only me, has changed dramatically. There is a kind and positive tone that I have taken with myself, and that has been reflected in my dialogue with others. Sometimes we go through times when we are far too harsh with ourselves. When our self-talk is of a critical nature, and that can spill over to others as well. I have said it before and I will say it again, when you change your thoughts you change your life! What I see on a daily basis is more creativity and more commitment. It has been really rewarding!
