Out of a great mess, greatness can emerge. I know that sounds odd, but it has really come up for me a lot lately. There was a time when everything seemed to be going wrong, and life felt anything but safe and secure. It was all I could do but center myself and know that “this too shall pass”. Indeed it did pass, but then there was that feeling of why or what is next? I felt I couldn’t get steady, and then… I did. Not only did I get steady, but I got strong, and I flipped my feelings of uncertainty into feelings of hope, and knowing that I was made of strong stock. I knew in my heart that there must be a reason why I went through this. When I say “greatness” I mean it as an inside journey. The greatness that is showing up in my life, is my inner matrix. The way I think, the way I choose to communicate with others, the way I live my life. I care about my inner world, and that dictates my outer world. Taking time to connect with that inner part of yourself will always lead you to higher ground. There are times when it seems as if everything is at a standstill, but in reality when we get clear that standstill feeling is really the shift in thinking and then things start to take off and materialize.
