There comes a time when our faith has to lead the way. At times things appear in our lives as dramatic, traumatic, and even scary. But the most amazing a-ha that I have had throughout my passage of time, has been the realization that nothing, and I mean nothing appears as it seems. When we first react to whatever it is that is showing up in our lives, there is a moment after the first initial response that things seem to settle.
Once I step away from the problem, my inner vision seems to shift, and I see things differently. I allow myself a period of time to digest and let go. The letting go part is not easy. The human mind wants to analyze and probe in ways that leads us more into the problem and less into the solution. For this New Year, I invite you to engage at a different level. A new barometer of living. Shall we say a faithful approach to handling things in our lives. Yes it takes great discipline, but as anything worthwhile in life, that discipline can lead you to a new level. What once was difficult can actually come naturally. Being faithful in our thinking and steering the mind in the right direction can only lead you to higher ground!
