This month Dr. Ingber and his staff at DermaCure Medical Aesthetics are excited to bring two new procedures to the office, Collagen P.I.N. and the ZO 3-Step Peel.
Collagen P.I.N., also known as percutaneous induction needling, or micro-needling, is a method of introducing a controlled wound into the skin to trigger a release of natural growth factors, new collagen, and elastin. Much less damaging to the epidermis then dermal rolling or ablative lasers, Collagen P.I.N. protects the new skin cell growth providing for quicker healing and a higher success rate for overall longer lasting results.
At DermaCure we are always focused on providing our patients with the safest, most up to date, scientifically sound technology. Our new P.I.N. device has three times more needles with a 36 pin head, making it the most advanced medical grade automated micro-needling device on the current market.
Years of research have proven this procedure to be safe for use on all skin types and body areas including the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, legs, abdomen, and back. Collagen P.I.N. addresses a variety of skin concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone and texture, stretch marks, acne, and other scaring.
Also new to our office this month is the ZO Three-Step Chemical Peel. This potent peel developed by Dr. Obagi gives longer lasting benefits beyond the temporary superficial improvements seen with ordinary peels. The ZO Three-Step Peel is designed specifically to target active acne, acne scarring, melasma, sun damage, fine lines, texture roughness, large pores, and skin dullness.
This peel consists of a powerful three-step in-office procedure followed by at-home use of a retinol crème and a ZO calming crème the following day. Suitable for any skin type or color, the Three-Step Peel promotes firmer, softer, smoother, brighter skin. For best results we recommend a series of three peels done four weeks apart.
