GO Jazz Brings Sinatra to Life
Our very own GO Jazz Big Band is known for playing your favorites, as well as the classics. The band’s upcoming November 22 show at the West Ranch Performing Arts Theater will not disappoint. Under the direction of Brian Leff, the guys and gals are taking this opportunity to commemorate the songs of Frank Sinatra during his 100th birthday year.
Each of our musicians is tuned up and ready to perform the hits that made Frank famous. With the accompaniment of well-known local vocalist Steve Lively, the audience is sure to be tapping and singing along. Whether you are from “New York, New York,” you “Feel So Young,” or are planning to “Fly (Me) to the Moon,” you are sure to recognize hit after hit.
The GO Jazz Big Band is a full-on, professional-level orchestra. Their sounds are crisp and from the heart. Now in their fifth year, they have performed both locally and at various venues outside of Santa Clarita.
The event will take place at the West Ranch High School Performing Arts Theater on Sunday, November 22 beginning at 3 p.m.; doors open at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors, and students (all ages) are free! Intermission will feature the usually tasty treats. You can have your tickets held at the door by calling our GO Jazz Hotline at 661-259-0033 ext. 444. Please clearly and slowly leave your name, number of tickets requested, and a contact number or email. You may also purchase tickets at the right door, as long as they last.
This is a great way to spend an afternoon, and we hope it will be a memorable experience for you and your guests. Mark your calendar now and reserve your tickets for Frank Sinatra 100!
