Share Love for Your Mom in Print! Submit your best Mother’s Day photo for a gift that lasts forever
It is impossible to put into words everything I appreciate about you. From who you are as a person to the person you raised us to be, you are irreplaceable. Thank you for never giving up on us. You were there, even during those rough years – that rebellious phase we all went through – where we foolishly thought we were too cool to be seen with you.
Thank you for being our greatest support system, our number one fan – always there to pick us up every single time we fell, physically and emotionally. Thank you for sitting in at all those concerts, play recitals and sports games, even in the pouring rain or scorching heat. Thank you for all the thousands of dollars you and dad have both spent on our education. Thank you for teaching us to be independent, for letting us find out on our own when that guy or girl is not good for us, and for being our shoulder to cry on when we finally realized it. Thank you for adopting my friends and calling them your “adopted children.” Thank you for being the glue that holds our families together, and for being strong when we moved away to college.
Thank you to all the moms out there for teaching us to keep opening doors in our lives, even when it feels like they all keep shutting. Because as we get older, we realize there was a reason behind the rollercoaster of a relationship we had or those moments when life disappoints us – just like you promised there would be.
