Gearing up for Brides and Proms!

Are you a Soon to be Bride or going to prom? Many ladies ask where do I start? First do some searches: Look for images of styles and make-up you like. We recommend looking for images of styles in a similar color and texture of your hair so you know its something that is do-able. Use those images as a reference. If you feel comfortable show your stylist your dress and ask for ideas.  Curls can always be added to change the texture or flat ironing can also be done to smooth as well. Next make an appointment.  Consultations are free at Lavish Salon, Trial appointments are recommended for Brides so you know and feel comfortable with the style and the stylist doing your hair on your wedding day. Plan about an hour to two depending on what you’re asking for on both the trial and the big day. Prom and bridesmaid styles can be done in less time due to keeping them simple and focusing on the bride. Trials can be booked one month to two weeks prior to the big day. Lastly do all waxing, tanning, facials four days to a week prior to make sure your skin has time to heal and recover. We at Lavish Salon would love to make your day extra special.
