From Spa-goer to Medical Spa Owner Rosemary Murphy turned a love into her passion
If you’ve lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for any bit of time, then you have probably heard the name Rosemary Murphy. Since 2001, she has been transforming skin, educating people and creating a family of clients at Beyond Harmony MedSpa. And it’s no wonder why she maintains 5-Star reviews on Yelp as well as 4.8 Stars on Facebook.
What began as a traditional day spa, Beyond Harmony was born from Rosemary’s own passion for day spa-ing. After many years of working in the corporate business world, and visiting a variety of Day Spa’s, Rosemary began to dream of owning her own spa. It was a wonderful opportunity to turn a love into a passion and sustain her life during retirement. Little did she know that her “retirement plan” would blossom into the flourishing business she maintains today.
“I always dreamed of owning a day spa,” said Rosemary. “I knew that running the business would be a learning process but I also knew that I needed to understand aesthetics, so I went to school to become an esthetician. It was from that schooling that my true passion for skincare transformation developed. I also taught skincare education for a while, too, after I graduated. It was during those years that the future mold of my business was developed. Plus, my many years of visiting spas gave me a perspective of what I wanted to do and what I didn’t want to do within my own spa oasis.
Within the walls of Beyond Harmony MedSpa, Rosemary has created a tranquil space where people can come to relax, let the stresses of the world melt away and leave with a better understanding of how to maintain their skin at home. Rosemary is known for her acne transformations, and prides herself in helping teens not only understand why their faces are ‘breaking out” but also teach them what they can do at home to help avoid problems. Look for Rosemary’s annual Teen Clean Night coming soon for back to school. This is a night where new and existing clients are invited to learn how to clean their face properly, as well as walk away with tips and advice on foods/chemicals to avoid in order to maintain better skin.
So as you can see education is clearly paramount for Rosemary, and her clients sing her praises because of it.
“I am 32 years old and I have struggled with Adult Hormonal Acne for the last eight years. I went to Beyond Harmony MedSpa and Rosemary seriously saved my face! I no longer have acne!! I can’t thank her enough! Her facials and skin care products including the innovative and truly amazing Jeunesse Global products have worked miracles for me! Thank you!” – Andrea F., Canyon Country
“Rosemary at Beyond Harmony is the best! I’ve been going to her for years. I’ve always had problems with my skin until Rosemary shared her knowledge and expertise with me. She takes her time, is kind and helpful, and recommends the services that are the absolute best for you personally. Stephanie handles the front counter with professionalism, helpfulness, and a smile! I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a facial, a peel, or a microdermabrasion!” – Karen O., Canyon Country
So if you’re looking for a tranquil oasis, where education is paramount, and there is never product-pushing or pressure, give Beyond Harmony MedSpa a call at 661-298-8008.
