Finding Meaning and Enjoyment of Life in the Santa Clarita Valley
Congregation Beth Shalom is a warm, welcoming and diverse Conservative synagogue with a tradition of outreach in our community spanning forty-plus years and a modern and innovative approach to ritual, education, and community service. If you are searching for a spiritual home, we invite you to celebrate Shabbat with us, either Friday night or Saturday morning. We offer a variety of Shabbat services, including monthly Family Shabbat and Tot Shabbat services for families with young children.
CBS has much to offer through prayer, education for all levels, tzedakah, celebration, and mitzvot. Our Congregation is open to all those who wish to come and pray, be with fellow Jews, or just come to experience Judaism. In addition to regular religious services, we offer social and educational activities for all ages, including a Bureau of Jewish Education accredited Religious School, a 5-day, licensed pre-school program, and an active United Synagogue Youth (USY) chapter.
As a “sacred community,” we maintain the traditional values of Conservative Judaism: Tikkum Olam (work to repair the world), and Gemillut Chassidim (deeds of loving-kindness). We are profoundly committed to bettering our souls and fixing our world through social action, spirituality, prayer and introspection. Our commitment to social action transcends faith, race and gender. So when we mend something in the world, we repair something in ourselves. And when we fix something in ourselves, we make the world a better place. Congregation Beth Shalom is proud to be affiliated with such community partners as the American Cancer Society, Family Promise, Project Chicken Soup and the American Red Cross.
Congregation Beth Shalom is: a place to connect to your community, a place to grow spiritually, a place to call home. For service schedule and ticket information, please call Robin at 661-254-2411, or visit our web site, www.cbs-scv.org.
