Koinonia Family Services is now serving the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys, and is looking for families who want to provide safe, caring, and nurturing homes for children who are in need of short-term or long-term placement. Children in need of placement range from newborns to 18-year-olds. Koinonia Family Services has expanded due to the significant need in the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valley areas. If you have ever thought about becoming a foster parent or adopting a child through foster care, Koinonia Family Services is able to help you take the next step. Koinonia provides the support of a professional case worker, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our resource parents are provided formal and on-going individual training. All Koinonia placements are provided medical and dental care, and a monthly allowance. In addition, Koinonia provides monetary reimbursement for each child placed in your home.
