Be A Maker and Maintainer of Peace

 Peace is something that comes from within.  It is not something that just appears when we want it.  It is something we must hold in our consciousness.
The longer we hold it, and the more we practice that sense of peace, then it becomes a daily force in our lives.  “Being the peace amidst the storm”, is not always easy.  It can test you, it can overwhelm you, but staying to the course, and seeing the shifts that take place, make it all the worthwhile.
How do we emanate peace when someone is angry with us, or there are turbulent situations at hand?  For me, I have to step away from the physical world, quiet my mind, and retreat for a moment.  I breathe, I ask myself what is real, and I begin to soften my opinions, and my expectations, and know that what is revealing itself in this moment is what I need.  Perhaps it is still uncomfortable, but if I let go, somehow it all falls into place. The letting go is key.  Ask yourself if you are being a maker & maintainer of the peace you desire.
