With an eye toward rewarding good students, AutoNation and its six Santa Clarita stores, in partnership with the William S. Hart Union High School District, is going to give away a 2017 Honda Fit EX on Thursday, April 27, at Canyon High School’s Harry Welch Stadium.
To qualify, sophomores, juniors and seniors must improve their first quarter GPA by .3 of a point in the third quarter. For example, if a student has a 2.5 GPA in the first quarter of the 2016/2017 school year, and posts a third quarter GPA of 2.8 or better, that student qualifies. Only the first and third quarter GPAs, quarter vs. quarter, will be used.
Any student with a 3.5 GPA or higher in the first quarter is automatically qualified no matter what happens in the third quarter. Students must have a minimum of a 2.0 in the first quarter to qualify.
All sophomores, juniors and seniors at Academy of the Canyons, Bowman, Canyon, Golden Valley, Hart, Saugus, Sequoia, Valencia and West Ranch High Schools are eligible.
The 2017 Honda Fit EX is a four-door hatchback with an MSRP of $19, 535. The winner is responsible for all taxes, licenses and fees.
