Danger/Opportunity

 The Japanese symbol for “crisis” is made up of two symbols.  The first being “danger”, and the second being “opportunity”.  This really spoke to my heart.  Especially at this time and space in our universe. There is a climate of “crisis”.  Whether it is globally or personally – people are going through a lot.  I felt a smile cross my face when I read about these symbols, as it has been through my more difficult times that I can look back and see the opportunity that has been presented to me.  Through my time of crisis, I had to dig deeper, rely on my faith more, see with a different lens.  It strengthened me even though it didn’t feel like it at the time. I also had to look at things that perhaps I needed to look at, let go of relationships that needed to end, and work on bringing new light into my life.  Now my daily day rests in a daily mindfulness that is like a checklist of being present and taking inventory in a new way that adds to my life.  It has made me more honest with myself. A willingness to go deeper with myself and the issues at hand. So, are you ready to look your crisis in the eye and see the opportunity? It is a path that gives great dividends.
