Saugus Union School Districts 7th Annual Festival of the Arts – Dream Big
On June 2 at 5:30 p.m., Saugus Union School District will hold its 7th annual Festival of the Arts event at Grace Baptist Church, 22833 Copper Hill Drive, Santa Clarita. This year’s event, themed “Creating Friendships is an Art,” featuring more than 300 kindergarten to 6th grade students from all 15 campuses, will come together in a celebration of the arts. Students will exhibit their musical talents as members of the honors chorus or orchestra while others will recite original poetry or showcase their beautifully crafted works of art. More than 1,000 students, parents, staff and community members are expected to attend this year’s Festival!
The goal of the Festival is to provide our students an opportunity to express their musical/artistic talents in front of friends, family and the community. Through this event, students gain self-esteem, enhance their talents and develop a sense of community. Thanks to the generosity of the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation, admittance is free… so come on by and join us!
For questions regarding this event, please contact Cory Pak (cpak@saugususd.org) or Sue Bett (sbett@saugususd.org) or call 661-294-5385.
