Ninja Warrior Meets Spartan Race
In an age where exercise is focused heavily on aesthetics, Ignition Fitness has dedicated time to ensure that the Santa Clarita Valley community is aware of functional fitness and how to train for it! The core value behind functional fitness is being able to apply your strength and agility to real life situations. Whether it’s just for fun or a fight between life and death, a person needs to have the necessary tools. Bench pressing is great exercise, however climbing a rope or wall could potentially save your life. I always say, “It’s better to have a skill set and not need need it than need it and not have it.”
In effort to bring awareness to functional fitness, Ignition Fitness is teaming up with American Ninja Warrior alum Westley Silvestri to host an all out test of the best with the Ninja Endurance Challenge. On May 20th competitors aged 12 and older will gather at Ignition Fitness with their co ed teams of 3 to showcase their functional training! The obstacle course based competition will be concluded with Best Course Time Awards. Ignition Fitness is proud to be an active force in the SCV fitness community and positively contribute to the growth of educated exercise and healthy living.
