The New Dynamic Duo in Town at Cosmetic Concepts Cathy Michelle Isaacs and Michael James Isaacs
Life can be hard to bare at times. It can catch us off guard and shake you up like a game of Yahtzee. That’s what happened when Cathy’s beloved husband Jim passed away last November. But in honor of her husband, the new path for family members Cathy Michelle Isaacs and step-son, Michael James Isaacs is shining very bright!
Cosmetic Concepts, established in 1986, has been a dream imagined from owner/esthetician Cathy Michelle Isaacs for over 30 years. Using her passionate drive to provide high-quality services and products with the most beneficial ingredients for your skin, Cathy has built her business on customization and education. She’s voted number one in SCV for six years running for her permanent makeup talents and brow expertise. Details are her business, from each product to each personalized, result oriented service. You will never leave the salon without the education you need to be successful at home as well.
“We offer a diverse menu from clinical anti-aging and acne facials to relaxing massage, and our own product line including custom mineral foundations. Our mineral liquid or powder foundation is formulated for each client individually, so it’s a perfect color match every time! Each container can last on average nine months so you know you are getting a great value at just $39.50” says Cathy.
Another benefit at Cosmetic Concepts that is a “must” and just in time for summer: are their single use wax pots! Who wants the chance of a double dip? Not me! Cosmetic Cosmetics takes cleanliness and their client’s health very seriously. They provide disposable wax pots at no extra charge each and every time! Safety and her reputation are paramount to Cathy.
Now the new exciting news: Cathy welcomes Michael James Isaacs Hair Design Artist to Cosmetic Concepts.
“I’m so excited to be able to offer hair services to clients now and Michael is more than just a stylist, he’s an artist, colorist and scientist extraordinaire! In other words he’s the best hair stylist I’ve seen and I’ve worked with many through the years” Cathy says.
It fits Michael’s personality perfectly to be a hair stylist. “I’m really a big science geek – I’m also a musician and artist” he says. His background in biology and chemistry, and his love of the arts bring a unique perspective to his approach to hair coloring, cutting and styling. “I love women,” Michael also says, “It has been such a blessing to work with them for the last 30 years in a career that I love! Making people feel better about the way that they look is my biggest reward…well, that and all of the great stuff that women have taught me about life over the years!”
Do you have curly hair or long hair that is hard to find someone to work with? Michael specializes in educating his clients about the chemistry of their hair. He loves to teach them how they can have better hair, using simple methods at home, to achieve great results every day. “It’s all about the results. I want my clients to look the best they can, with a minimum of effort, using what they have to work with,” Michael adds.
It’s that result-orientated kind of thinking that make Cathy and Michael so excited about working together, highlighting their passion for education as a key factor to their individual personal successes in the beauty industry.
