Celebrating and Supporting Women At Lunafest 2017
This year marked the seventh time Zonta has been a festival host of the well-known fundraiser and I can assure you the evening was magical. The Canyon Theatre Guild was filled with women, and men, who came out to support the many services and programs Zonta provides for the community.
“The evening was inspiring, emotional and simply moving,” said Sally Van Swearingen, local business owner and supporter of women empowerment.
The nine shorts showcased during the evening sparked emotion in everyone. Shedding light on various issues such as childcare, redemption, connection and more, these films encouraged us all to start a conversation on change. Thanks to all who attended! Your support and the sponsors help fund Zonta’s programs and projects that empower women locally and worldwide.
