Ask Cathy
Dear Cathy, I’m on a constant quest for longer fuller lashes. I’ve tried eyelash extensions and I love them, however now I’m hearing about these eyelash lifts. I’ve seen some great pictures, so I was wondering what they are all about? How much is it? – Lisa the Lash Lover
Hi Lisa, the new lash lift and tint is really everything they say it is. We are loving it! The procedure lifts, curls, lengthens and darkens your own natural lashes to create that coveted brighter, fuller, wide eyed look. Clients find it very relaxing, it takes 45 minutes to an hour and consists of you lying down with your eyes closed the entire time. Our esthetician applies specially shaped lifting pads on your eyelids which lift your lashes from the root and then a safe lash lifting gel process is done followed by a lash tint where the tint is applied (then removed) to give that blackest black look. The final step is a nourishing oil to condition and work as a protective coat. This lash lift and tint lasts up to eight weeks sometimes a little longer. As the natural life cycle of your eyelashes renew themselves. With this treatment, there isn’t any awkward between treatment phase, your lashes just revert back to their original state when you are ready for your next treatment. Immediately following nothing goes on the lashes for 24 hours after that you can swim, put mascara on, however you most likely won’t need it! And there will be no need for an eyelash curler at all! Lift & Tint is just $105 (reg. $125), Lift (without tint) is only $85(reg. $100). Once you try it you will see why it is the newest can’t-live-without-it beauty treatment! Look for the next few months of “Ask Cathy” to cover Eyelash Extensions.
