Breast Lift
Breast lifts are performed to remove excess skin and tissue to achieve better positioning of the nipple/ areola complex, resulting in “perky” breasts. Several different types of lists are available depending on the degree that the breast needs to be lifting and the amount of skin and tissue that needs to be removed. This can be performed alone or with the placement of breast implants.
A Benelli Lift, also known as a “donut lift” or concentric mastopexy is performed to achieve a small lift by removing the skin around the areola. A Vertical Lift, also known as the “lollipop lift” is performed by making an incision around the areola and down the center of the breast. A Full Lift or Wise Mastopexy is performed in the same fashion as a breast lift, around the areola, down the breast and under the breast fold. The only difference between a full breast lift and reduction is the amount of tissue removed during surgery.
